Homes and offline businesses will be bought online next

Sam and Shaan predict categories not yet sold online will move there: apartments rented sight-unseen via 3D mapping (Matterport), and Shaan adds brick-and-mortar businesses traded online like a more-developed LoopNet for offline businesses.

“homes are not really being bought online. I've thought about this since 2012 when I worked at an apartment company. I was like, oh, well, someone's going to rent apartments online without seeing them once the 3D mapping is a thing, which Matterport's doing that.”
