Employee productivity-tracking spyware is booming in COVID

Shaan flags a category surging with remote work: employer productivity trackers (essentially spyware) logging online/idle time, keystrokes, websites and screenshots. He cites Transparent Business claiming 500% growth through COVID, noting these thrive outside Silicon Valley where backlash would be fierce.
